Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Abbottabad has the authority to conduct matric and intermediate annual and supplementary exams for the students of Abbottabad, Batagram, Haripur, Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan, Mansehra and Tor Ghar districts. Like other boards of Pakistan, Abbottabad Board also conducts matric exams in March and April and intermediate exams in May and June.

The roll number slips of written exams of SSC part 1 & 2 are sent in the month of February while roll number slips of practical papers are issued after the written exams. Later, the roll number slips of matric supply exams are posted to the unsuccessful candidates after the result announcement of matric annual exams.

The roll number slips of HSSC part 1 & 2 written exams are sent by BISE Abbottabad in the month of April while the board sends the intermediate practical exams after the written exams. After the result announcement of 11th and 12th class annual exams, the roll number slips of intermediate supplementary exams are sent to the concerned students.

On several occasions, it becomes difficult for the SSC and HSSC students of BISE Abbottabad to receive their roll number slips from the board due to different reasons.
